Van brings more than two decades of experience in education leadership, school improvement, coaching, and organizational development. His career spans roles as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, district leader, and executive director, giving him a deep, practical understanding of how schools and systems operate and how to make them stronger.
Van’s expertise includes school improvement planning, leadership development, instructional strategy, PBIS, conscious discipline, literacy support, and community engagement. He is known for building strong relationships, leading diverse teams, and implementing strategic initiatives that support both academic success and whole-child development.
In addition to his work in education, Van is a successful entrepreneur and community leader, having founded and led multiple organizations focused on youth development, academics, athletics, and community growth. His passion for service extends beyond schools into business, faith-based leadership, and civic involvement.
