Mrs. Andrea McGreger
The Excellence Group is pleased to welcome Andrea McGreger as Professional Learning, Federal Programs, Outreach & Team Leader.
Andrea McGreger brings 28 years of experience in public education, including 13 years in the classroom and 15 years in district and school leadership. Her career includes 14 years with Pontotoc City School District as a classroom teacher and school administrator, followed by 3 years as Curriculum Director and 11 years as Assistant Superintendent for Amory School District.
Her areas of expertise include curriculum and instruction, assessment and item development, federal programs, MTSS implementation, and English learner instruction and support.
In her role, Andrea provides support to The Excellence Group through instructional, assessment, and systems-based services, including:
• Research-based instructional strategies
• Assessment development and item writing
• Federal programs guidance and compliance support
• MTSS implementation and progress monitoring
• Targeted strategies to support the bottom 25% of students
• Coaching and instructional modeling for teachers
• Design and support of student tutorials and interventions
• English learner identification, instruction, and accountability
Her approach is collaborative and practical, grounded in deep district-level experience and focused on sustainable improvements in teaching and learning.
